Pure Vegetarian Dining at Hotel Apsara
Our kitchen is led by an Indian chef serving a broad selection of multi-cuisine, strictly vegetarian dishes. We also offer a kid's menu, so families can dine together with something for everyone.

What we serve
The kitchen at Hotel Apsara is a casual, all-day, pure vegetarian dining room inside the hotel, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Jain food is prepared on request. The cooking is multi-cuisine in the Indian hotel sense of the term — North Indian, Chinese, Continental, Bengali and local hill dishes — and there is a children's menu.

Dishes we can point to
These are the dishes the hotel itself puts forward on its booking listings, and the ones guests name when they write about eating here:
- Malai kofta
- Aloo paratha
- Grilled vegetable sandwiches
- Kadai paneer and chilli paneer
- Dal fry with steamed rice
Why there are no prices on this page. We would rather show you nothing than show you a price list we cannot stand behind. The dishes above are the ones we can properly account for; the full card is longer. We have not found a published, priced menu for this kitchen, so we have not reconstructed one. Ask reception for the current card and the current prices, or telephone +91 354 225 2242 before you arrive, and we will read it to you.
Eating in your room
Room service is available for part of the day rather than around the clock; reception will tell you the current hours.
Before you book a table
Two things worth saying plainly, because guests occasionally arrive expecting otherwise. This is a pure vegetarian house — no meat, fish or egg preparation is cooked or served anywhere on the premises, and we ask guests not to bring such food into the building. And the dining room is a hotel restaurant, not a bar.
For dietary requirements, a Jain preparation or a table for a large group, speak to us in advance on +91 354 225 2242, on WhatsApp at +91 89678 57857, or by email at [email protected].
Where this page's information comes from: the serving times, the cuisine list, the pure vegetarian and Jain designation, and the dishes malai kofta, aloo paratha and grilled vegetable sandwiches are taken from the hotel's own dining information as published on its MakeMyTrip listing. Kadai paneer, chilli paneer, dal fry and steamed rice are dishes named by guests in their own TripAdvisor reviews of this hotel. The hotel's booking listing names the restaurant “Bamboo Grass Apsara Caterers”. No dish and no price on this page has been invented.
